Nick Foles may not get a chance to start in 2018 after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to their first championship and winning Super Bowl MVP, but the team is reportedly taking care of him as a reward for his efforts.

Despite his unbelievable Super Bowl run, Foles has acknowledged that he understands the Eagles are still Wentz’s team. After all, the organization gave up a haul of picks to draft Wentz in 2016, and the former No. 2 was the favorite for NFL MVP before going down in Week 14 last season.

That said, Foles went into this offseason hoping for an opportunity to start somewhere in 2018.
